My neighborhood BS3 is surrounded on the left at the city bypass Dunajska road with Word Trade Center and the Domina Ljubljana Hotel & Spa, right at the Vojkova road new Sports Park Stožice has been built. In the vicinity is a Hippodrome Stožice.

BS3 consists of a low four-floor blocks built in the years 1976-1978 and of a high 20 floor residential blocks built in 1981. Streets, located in BS3 are Puhova, Trebinjska, Maroltova and Reboljeva. The purpose of my writing is to share my experience staying in BS3, which might be helpful if you are thinking to buy or rent an apartment in the neighborhood.

My 2.5 room apartment in Ljubljana measuring 56 m2 is very comfortable. At the entrance is a small hallway that leads straight to the bathroom, on the left is a children's room and on the right through the living room in the spacious bedroom. I have a very sunny kitchen with a view of Ljubljana Castle and an open balcony, which offers a view of mountain Triglav. Weakness of the apartment is the noise, because I live adjacent to the highway and high floor without a lift. In the summer time air conditioning is essential. In spite of this I feel very good and safe in the apartment.
BS3 is near the center of Ljubljana, as well as close to the highway for Primorska, Dolenjska and Štajerska. For BTC shopping center I need 10 minutes by car. I like the location of BS3 because I have all very close. Post office, two banks, two Mercator shops for food, pharmacy, bakery, flower shop, several small bars (my favorite bar is Du-bop which has very nice ambient), some hairdressing salons, several shops with gifts, clothing trade are in the neighborhood. Almost everything you need to buy is near. We also have two kindergarten (Ciciban Ljubljana - Unit Mehurčki and Lenka), primary school Milan Šuštaršič and library. Bus connections to the center are very good. You can take bus number 20 from Vojkova or bus numbe 6 or 8 from Dunajska road to go to the city center.
A major weakness is parking, which is not in order and too small for all residents. I guess a rented parking space within WTC could solve my problem, but I have not decided yet for this option. The deciding factors that I have chosen an apartment in the neighborhood BS3 are vicinity of faculties (Faculty of Education, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences) and walking trails, where many people can walk our just take their dog our. 10 minutes drive away are park Tivoli or Rašica for those more demanding athletes and recreational enthusiasts. And soon we will get a new sports stadium Stožice by the Vojkova road, which will offers many opportunities for recreation and sports exercise, and I hope will also solve the problem with parking.
